What ticklog stores, why, and how to get rid of it.
While the game runs, the mod reports every 30 seconds where you are: launcher, singleplayer, or a server address. From these reports the site adds up your playtime per day, per mode and per server. Sent along with each report:
- your Minecraft UUID and name
- the address of the server you are connected to
- nothing else: no chat, no coordinates, no inventory, no hardware data
The mod proves it is really your account through Mojang's session server, the same check a multiplayer server does when you join.
Your profile at ticklog.net/<name> shows your skin, total and daily playtime, the split between launcher, singleplayer and servers, your three most played servers, rank, badges, monthly profile views and likes. Anyone can open it.
Servers can be hidden one by one in the settings.
Logging in stores your Discord ID, username and avatar so you can link Minecraft accounts, like profiles and change settings. We never see your Discord password or messages.
A session cookie (tl_session) keeps you logged in for 30 days.
Profile views are counted once per visitor and day with a random cookie (tl_vid). The chosen light or dark theme is kept in your browser.
There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
The database runs on Supabase in the EU (Ireland). The website is served from a server in the EU behind Cloudflare, which sees your IP address like any proxy.
Skins and names come from Mojang's public APIs and are cached for a short time, never stored.
Settings → Danger zone removes your Discord login, linked accounts and likes. Tick "Also wipe the tracked playtime" to erase every hour of the linked Minecraft accounts as well.
Accounts that stop sending reports keep their playtime until deleted.
